OUR VALUES
OUR VALUES
Traditional craftsmanship - contemporary design.
Quality has the highest priority for us.
 PHILOSOPHY
PHILOSOPHY
Traditional craftsmanship combined with aesthetically sophisticated simplicity is the philosophy of DIBBERN. The quality of our products is our top priority. This also applies to the design of our products. The principle established by the Bauhaus that form and function form a unit is still the top rule for design. Tableware is the stage for the appearance of the food - this is the self-image of the design. It is therefore classic, restrained, rather purist and refrains from developing so-called "trendy", short-lived products.
 HISTORY
HISTORY
In the mid-1960s, Bernd T. Dibbern laid the foundation for today's positioning as a manufacturer and supplier of lifestyle products of the highest quality and timeless design in the field of tableware. The first porcelain, glass and cutlery collection based on his own designs was created and produced exclusively in Europe. The breakthrough as a lifestyle brand came with the Solid Color tableware in the 1980s: Solid Color's multi-award-winning, pure form dates back to the 1930s, while 41 contemporary colors open up an endless variety of individual combination options for consumers. The most important milestone in the company's history was the reopening of Germany's first private porcelain manufactory in 1997, which was founded by C.M. Hutschenreuther in Hohenberg, Bavaria in 1814. Even today, the plates from Fine Bone China are still turned in the traditional way in our manufactory in Hohenberg, Bavaria and not pressed as in industrial mass production. The glasses produced for DIBBERN are mouth-blown and hand-cut and manufactured exclusively in Europe.
