OUR MANUFACTORY
OUR MANUFACTORY
Traditional craftsmanship combined with contemporary design is our philosophy.

Germany's first private porcelain manufactory was founded in 1814 in Hohenberg, Bavaria, by Carolus Magnus Hutschenreuther. This factory was reopened by DIBBERN in 1997. The traditional art of porcelain production is continued here at the highest level and with the highest standards of craftsmanship.

More than 100 employees are involved in the design and production of a very special porcelain: Fine Bone China. The term bone china comes from England and stands for very fine porcelain (china) with a high proportion of bone ash (bone).

DIBBERN behind the scenes

Sustainable glazes
The careful use of natural resources in our manufactory is firmly anchored in our corporate values. We optimize our raw material productivity by collecting excess raw material and glaze for recovery for the further production cycle.
